The peninsular region of Pelion is gifted with beautiful natural surroundings. The gigantic mountains are covered with intense vegetation and as the slopes descend they are transformed into beautiful white sandy beaches with emerald waters. The coastal villages are major tourist spots especially in summer and they provide various entertainment options to visitors.
In the beaches of Pelion, you can relax by the seaside and under the umbrellas. Or, if you more adventurous, then you can straight head the water sport clubs. There are some water sports clubs in the area and you can find some Pelion apartments close by.
If you are interested in diving, then you should go to the beach village of Agia Kiriaki. The Trikeri Diving School there gives important diving lessons. The clear blue-green sea has ideal diving conditions. The coloured corals and different species of fauna are sure to enthrall tourists.
For kite surfing, windsurfing and sailing, you have to head to Milina Beach. This beach has all the safety measures required. Private instructors are available for beginners and you can easily enroll in these clubs to take some elementary lessons. The mild winds that blow there in the afternoon are perfect for windsurfing.
